Power steering problems

A lot of times if you are having issues with your power steering probably just a lack of power steering fluid. One big way to tell is a loud whining or howling type noise coming from the pump. Then there is the case of a leaking power steering hose, which is usually the high pressure hose side that ends up needing replacing. Non-lubricated dry components can put extra wear on other parts including the power steering pump. If you are having other steering issues such as the steering not centering after a turn is most likely a problem with the alignment or the steering gear box.
